In the Level ll atrium, the child's spiritual journey continues.  The image of the Good Shepherd is integrated with the image of Jesus as the True Vine (John 15: 1, 4-5, 9), including the words " I am the Vine, you are the branches."   This is a time to deepen and continue to build the child's relationship with God, through the child's own joyful responses to God's gifts of love and God's many gifts of Creation.

     En el nivel 2 del Atrio el nino(a) continue en un descubrimiento espiritual con la imagen de Jesus como el Buen Pastor y Jesus la vina verdadera (Jn 15:1-4;5-9). "Yo soy la vina y ustedes son las ramas" nos dice Jesus. En este nivel II se penetra mas profundamente en la relacion de la nina(o) con Dios a travez de la respuesta personal a Dios con gozo por el amor y por el don de la creacion.

Eduvigues M. Alfaro

        I have been an active member of St. Peter Church since 2003.   I am a wife and mother of three children. I have a diploma in Business Administration and I am currently enrolled in Clackamas Community College, learning American SIgn Language.
     I began my Catechetical journey in 2016, answering my call to Know, Love and Serve the Lord.   In 2019, I received the Foundational Certificate, answering the call to Lay Ministry from the Archdiocese of Portland.   I am a certified Level I, II guide for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and am currently in the process of completing the Level lIl training (to be completed August 2023).
     I have discovered the joy of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.   This approach gives us a method of evangelization for the child with beautiful materials and a hands on approach that is based on Sacred Scripture and the Liturgy.   I am blessed to share in the work of nurturing the child's deep faith through this gift from the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Rosa Escobedo

        I have been a member of the St. Peter Church community since 2006.  
I was baptized Catholic and continue to serve the Lord as a Catholic and a Catechist for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.    I am a certified Level l Catechist and am continuing my Level ll formation (to be completed in January, 2022).   One of my joys of working with children is to watch them experience the wonders of our Lord's grace and love for them.   I look forward to working with your child in the years to come.   Blessings to you all!

Cami Kornowski

     I grew up in Oregon, attending private Christian schools throuth the 9th grade.   While attending the University of Portland, I went through the RCIA process of becoming a Catholic, after watching my mom become a Catholic.   I have a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Sciences, with a focus in Child Development.   I have also obtained a certificate in Deaf Studies.   I love working with children and am constantly inspired by them.   I feel so blessed to a part of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and to be able to work with the Youth and Deaf Community at St. Peter Church.   I am a Certified Level 1 Catechist and expect to complete the Level ll Certification in January, 2022.
