Following the command of Jesus to "give food to the hungy and drink to the thirsty" this ministry goes once a month, fourth Saturday at 7am, to bring a hot breakfast for the labor workers at Martin Luther King Jr. work center downtown.
A group of volunteers gathered on Friday night in our parish kitcken to prepare tortas (ham sandwiches) and hot chocolate with bread. Saturday morning they come back at 6am to do the final preparation and bring the labor workers a delicious hot breakfast.
The proceeds for this ministry come from the same community who donate money and milk, chocolate, coffee, fruits, ham, bread and cheese to make the sandwiches.
All welcome to come and be part of this work of mercy.
